Ethics and Publication Policy

All publications in the Cappadocia Journal of Sport Sciences and Medicine (CJSSM) are subject to a double-blind peer-review process based on initial screening by editorial criteria. Authors should ensure that they are writing completely original works and that if authors have used the work and/or words of others, it is appropriately cited or addressed. CJSSM is a full-access publication; this means that peer-reviewed scientific studies can be read, downloaded, copied, distributed, printed, scanned or freely accessed online by any user on the public internet, crawled for indexing, transferred to software, or financial, legal or technical. means to be used for other lawful purposes without obstacles. All articles published after peer-review are immediately accessible from the publication date.

Files published in open access of the CJSSM Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) are in line with guidelines and policies (For example, “Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for “Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors” for Journal Editors” and “COPE Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors”) require that all components of the publication process comply with ethical principles.

Plagiarism Policy

Each study submitted to the Cappadocia Journal of Sport Sciences and Medicine is first examined in the similarity program (Turnitin or iThenticate etc.). References are excluded during the evaluation phase. As a result of the analysis, the total similarity rate should be maximum 20%, and the similarity rate to a single study should be maximum 5%. If the similarity ratio is detected above the specified limits, the study is rejected. The author(s) are fully responsible for scientific inconsistency, plagiarism, etc. in all studies to be published in the journal.

Publication Fee

Cappadocia Journal of Sport Sciences and Medicine does not charge any publication fee.
